We are in Tabuaço and we find a huge variety of interesting aspects to share: pure air, sweet fruit, fairs and festivals, superb scenery, a rich heritage of churches, pillories, manor houses and traditions.

The Távora River baths the municipality and the Abel Coelho Park, ornaments a wide surrounding area.
The roasted kid is stuffed and served with the strong local wine, literally much alcoholic and in the end of the meal try the famous «Jeropiga», a sweet wine of an amber colour.
Smoked ham, «bola de carne» (a kind of sweet bread filled with meat) and chestnuts soup are ancient courses, affectionately kept, as well as the traditional dessert, the egg and milk custard.
